National Take a Walk in the Park Day
On March 30, the 412 Youth Zone celebrated National Take a Walk in the Park Day with a small but determined group of three youth and four staff who made the half-mile walk to Point State Park.
This event spotlights the importance of Mental Health and is exclusively for youth no longer in high school. Young people will be given the opportunity to actively engage with mental health wellness activities, share in a healthy meal, and connect with their peers in a safe space. This program starts at 4pm on May 6th.
This event is a great opportunity to explore careers, dive into life-planning, and balance that all important budget, all while having a great time! This program is open to all youth who are currently in high school and are interested in exploring how to navigate their independence. The session starts promptly at 4pm.
Rainbow is a safe space to meet, support each other, talk about topics related to sexual orientation and gender identity and expression, and work to end homophobia and transphobia. This event is open to all members of the LBGTQIA community and allies as well.

The 412 Youth Zone's fruit-themed Etiquette Dinner created a vibrant, restaurant-style experience where youth explored new cuisines, built essential dining skills, and enjoyed an evening full of connection, culture, and fun.
