This October, spooky season was in full swing at the 412 Youth Zone, complete with the annual Halloween Bash and outing to 100 Acres Manor. The night was a chance for both youth and staff to transform in costume, indulge in sweet treats, and bond over silly moments.
“My favorite part of the Halloween party was hanging out with my friend.”
“I enjoyed being social in a healthy way.”

The festivities spanned the drop-in center floor, surrounding participants with haunted excitement! One space was completely transformed into a black-light embellished photo booth with props, masks, and even a Mona Lisa face cut-out! Participants could take the dress-up a step further at the face paint booth, and the temporary tattoo stand was a clear favorite!
Right next door, participants engaged in some friendly competition, tackling Fear Factor-style competitions. The bravest participants took on mystery drink and snack guessing games, sampling unusual treats ranging from chili tamarind peach gummy rings to garlic plantain chips and sipping spooky beverages like Mandarin Jarritos and coconut water. Those who won the challenges were awarded their choice of a stuffed animal or full-sized chocolate bar!

Over in the lounge, partygoers unleashed their creativity with pumpkin carving and mask making and jammed out at the DJ booth! Delicious treats kept the party alive, including a potion bar featuring caramel apple punch and witches brew, and, of course, a fully stocked candy stand! Fueled by pizza and cupcakes, staff and youth vibed out on the dance floor amidst the enchanting lighting and eerie décor.

“The live DJ was really cool!”

“We all did the electric slide together in the cafeteria… it was really fun… he showed us how to do it.”

“Big Jus doing the nae nae…the look on his face…it was amazing.”

And the party didn’t stop there! Thirteen youth got to experience all the thrills and chills of 100 Acres Manor, making for an evening filled with screams, laughter, and plenty of Halloween memories!

With eerie lighting, creepy scenes, unexpected surprises, and spooky characters around every corner, the haunted attraction set the perfect stage for a Halloween adventure. The haunted house brought plenty of thrills, giving everyone a chance to face their fears, challenge themselves, and enjoy an adventure with friends.

"I really didn’t think I could face my fears, but this was awesome!”
Sometimes, it's the simple things that make the best memories: laughing with friends, sharing a few scares, and having a story to tell long after the night is over. Thirteen youth, one haunted manor, and a whole lot of Halloween memories!

"I didn’t know they had a mascot, and now I have a plushie and know the cool backstory!”

All night long, the high energy, magical vibes, and happy taste buds truly brought the community together for a spooktacular celebration, making Halloween 2026 at the Youth Zone a night to remember.
