The 412 Youth Zone partnered with Cafe Momentum and the Pittsburgh Steelers to provide a really unique experience for our participants, a meal with Steelers' linebacker, TJ Watt.
The meal, which consisted of sandwiches, cookies, and pasta salad, was prepared by Cafe Momentum. It was then delivered and served by TJ, his wife Dani, along with Cafe Momentum and Steelers staff. After the meal, TJ and Dani interacted with our youth members, sharing stories, taking selfies, and getting to know the young people who frequent the Youth Zone. We had sixteen young people participate in this unique experience and many expressed their appreciation for the personal interaction with a celebrity. Other noted how much they enjoyed the mutual exchange of advice with a professional athlete.
