Welcome to the YZ Café, a new monthly program bringing cozy coffee shop vibes to the Youth Zone! During scheduled YZ Café hours, young people can connect with Youth Zone staff in a relaxed, welcoming space while enjoying coffee, tea, or hot cocoa made just the way they like it.
YZ Café is more than just drinks—it’s a chance to slow down and connect. The café creates intentional space for young people to build relationships with peers and Youth Zone staff, check in, and start conversations in a low-pressure, comfortable environment. It’s a simple way to turn an ordinary afternoon into a meaningful moment of connection and community.
We kicked things off with a soft opening on November 26, just before our annual Thanksgiving dinner—and it was an instant hit! Building on that momentum, we celebrated our grand opening on December 30 ahead of our roller-skating trip to The Neville Roller Drome. December’s café featured crowd-favorite flavors like white chocolate, brown sugar, salted caramel, and peppermint, plus a variety of fun toppings that made every drink feel extra special. Be sure to join us for the next YZ Café on January 29 at 3:00 PM— come grab a drink, catch up, and enjoy the vibes!
